“A Loving Home Series”
A Loving Home Series is the name I gave to this body of art in 2003. The daring name of the series, the little house with a heart on each piece, and our writings that accompany all the designs are intended to illuminate that universally-loved sense of connection – that connection which informs us of being both looked after and relied on, in the big picture of life. Whether it be with family, friends, neighbors, strangers (friends we haven’t met yet), or spirit, it is this connection, I believe, that will move us toward a more compassionate and friendly world.

“Our Story”
I was 32 years old when I began creating art professionally, and 42 when I began putting my highest ideals into my art. My daughter, Tirza, initiated her own art career at the age of 3, by selling her drawings, in our art gallery in Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2004, Tirza began to contribute to this Loving Home Series. For our first piece together, entitled “Strawberries”, she provided the wording and the sketch; still a very popular piece in our collection. Tirza continued to inspire me by feeding me ideas and sketches, so much so that by early 2006, a significant percent of the art in our gallery were pure collaborations. At this point we publicly became a father-daughter art team, and one I’m extremely proud of. And, now Tirza's works her designs from start to finish, you can see her new direction in this part of the web site  "Tirza's Branch of the Tree". I hope you find the art that Tirza and I create a joyful, uplifting and a unique gift for yourself, or for someone you are lovingly connected to.
